How to Get Started Showing with MEPSA
- Take pictures of your model equines.
- Get pictures printed in 4×6.
- Label pictures with equine’s name, breed, gender, color, collectibility or workmanship info. You can visit our Class Lists page for the Division lists, class lists, breed directory and more.
- Label pictures with your name, address, email and shower code.
This is only an example and your info can be in any configuration as long as all the info is included and you keep it consistent. That makes it easier on the judges when they go to sort all of the photos for each section.
5. Now that you have all of your pictures labeled, sort them by Division and then put them into numerical order by the first class. This makes the judge’s job easier when the receive them and begin sorting them for the first classes.
6. The next thing to do is to decide which series you want to show with. If you’re fairly new to Photo Showing, you can start in in the Novice series. The Novice shows are small and the judges will give critiques to your photos. or jump right into the Open series!
