Donations are a vital part of the success of the annual MEPSA Championship Show. If you would like to make a donation, here are some ideas:
– models (any size, original finish or custom, perfect or imperfect)
– companion animals
– tack
– props
– rider dolls
– customizing services
– photo services
– basically anything you would enjoy receiving is probably something that others would also enjoy
– please do not send heavy items
Donations may be used as either prizes or fundraisers. We would like to award Classic level prizes to the grand champions. These would include (for example) Breyer Classic models, Breed of the World resins, current release H-R china minis, Rio Rondo Western halter kits, and so on. Light-weight prizes are much appreciated (tack, costumes, gift certificates). Models can be mint out of box, customized or even body quality (especially if they are desirable bodies), but not broken please! Imagine what you would like to see in your box! Let’s make this be the best Championship Show yet!
MEPSA also accepts monetary donations, which can be made via check, money order or through our Paypal account. These help offset the costs of mailing prizes, printing the Championship Show book (now in full color) and purchasing ribbons/rosettes.
Donating to MEPSA earns you free ad space in our Championship Show book. The size of your ad depends on the value of your donation:
$0-$24 = 1/8 page ad
$25-$49 = 1/4 page ad
$50-$99 = 1/2 page ad
$100-$149 = full page ad
$150+ = full page ad plus a free Championship Show book
All Grand Champions and Reserves will receive rosettes, however please note that insufficient donations will mean not all winners will receive models (or equivalent) as prizes. In addition to rosettes, we also like to award traditional NIB Breyers or equivalent value items (i.e. LSQ/PSQ/vintage traditional scale Breyers, Stones, Hartlands, Lakeshore, CMs, ARs (all sizes, painted/up), props, tack, etc.) to the Grand Champions. We also like to award NIB Classic Breyers or equivalent value items (i.e. LSQ/PSQ classic Breyers, Japan models, ornaments, halters, blankets, etc.) to the Reserve Grand Champions. For the Mini division, we like to award mini prizes such as NIB SM sets, Collector Club/ BF SR minis or chips, CM minis, mini HR, AR minis, mini tack and props.
